Host an RTK-Net GPS reference station and receive exclusive host benefits!

As we continue to expand RTK-Net, we are constantly searching for strategic locations for reference stations. If you have a location that is suitable for a permanent GPS reference station, there may be an opportunity to host a site and receive substantial discounts and privileges for accessing the network.

For each site that you host, you receive one free RTK-Net modem for your Leica GPS unit. This modem provides unlimited access to the entire network at no cost. Any additional GPS units you subscribe to the network will also receive substantial discount.

Please be aware that not all "open" sites may be suitable for the proper operation of a GPS reference station. Unseen influences such as local radio frequency (RF) interferences may affect the performance of a GPS reference station. Prior to permanent installation of a station, extensive testing of the site is conducted to validate the integrity of the location. Once a site has passed all tests, then permanent installation can take place.

The following information is provided to help you determine whether your site may be suitable to host an RTK-Net GPS reference station.

Preferred RTK-Net Site Details:

• 1-3 Story masonry structure
• No obstructions above 10 mask angle from GPS antenna
• DSL (minimum) internet service available
• Host owned building
• No communications towers nearby
• Strategic geographic location
