The modern design of Leica PaveSmart 3D combined with the MOBA-matic Automatic Leveling System permits optimal adjustments of the machines to various tasks.

It is compatible with WIRTGEN, DYNAPAC, Bitelli, Marini, Road Tec CAT and other brands of Profilers.

With Leica Geosystems unique PaveSmart 3D control system, the machine is controlled without stringlines or any other local references. Starting from the project data, the actual 3D prism position is measured by a Total station or a GNSS receiver and transmitted to the Leica Machine Computer (MPC). High-accuracy machine-mounted slope sensors provide additional information on the long- and cross-slope. The results of the design-vs-actual calculation represent the amount of the elevation and X-slope correction required to bring the machine back on-grade within an accuracy of up to ±5mm(with TPS). Leica PaveSmart 3D transmits corrections to the onboard control system (e.g. WIRTGEN Level-Pro, DLS controllers or MOBA-matic), which regulates the hydraulics, in a similar way to controlling with the conventional sensors - meaning your crew doesn't need to be retrained to work with 3D.
